Support for Islamists Declines as Egypt's Election Nears
Ahead of Egypt's presidential election, support for several Islamist parties is down significantly. Egyptians are also much less likely to want the Muslim Brotherhood to hold a strong and influential position in parliament.

U.S. unemployment, as measured by Gallup without seasonal adjustment, declined slightly to 8.2% in mid-May from 8.3% in April. Seasonal adjustments show a similar slight decrease in unemployment to 8.5% in mid-May from 8.6% last month.

Americans' expectations for their personal financial situations have recovered from the low point of four years ago, with 63% now saying they expect to be better off a year from now, up from 52% in late May/early June 2008.
