I work in an affluent hospital in Las Vegas, the hotel industry & I have yet to see any of the hospitals latch on to the hotels service mentality.
I am fortunate to have serval family members work for hotels & casinos and they keep me updated on service excellence

So often we talk about employee engagement but I think this model may offer an opportunity to impove patient engagement. Once patients get well they need the tools to stay well. Hope we hear a follow up on this project in 2010.
