GMJ Comments Usage Policy

The Readers' Comments area is a Service provided by Gallup to allow readers to comment on Gallup Management Journal content. If you would like to share your comments, we welcome you to submit your message to the Readers' Comments area. Users shall use the Readers' Comments area for lawful purposes only.

This site is not meant for use by anyone under the age of 16. If you are under the age of 16, you should always obtain permission from your parent(s) before sending any personal information to us or to anyone else.

Gallup has no obligation to and does not actively monitor the content of users' messages in the Readers' Comments area. However, Gallup reserves the right (but not the obligation) to review materials posted to  the Readers' Comments area, and to delete, move, or edit content of any materials at its sole discretion and to terminate your access to any or all Gallup-sponsored forums at any time, without notice, should Gallup in its sole discretion find the materials to be inaccurate; abusive; defamatory; obscene; have SPAM, commercial, or advertising content or links; in violation of an existing copyright, or otherwise unacceptable in their nature or placement.

Gallup reserves the right at all times to disclose any information Gallup deems necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, and the right to edit, refuse to post, or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, at Gallup's sole discretion.

Always use caution when giving out any personally identifiable information about yourself in the Readers' Comments area. Please do not post any private information unless you want it to be available publicly. Never assume that you are completely anonymous and cannot be identified by your posts. Gallup does not control or endorse the content, messages, or information found on any Readers' Comment area, therefore, Gallup specifically disclaims any liability with regard to any information posted on any Readers' Comment area and to any actions resulting from your participation in any of these forums.

You understand that all information, data, text, photographs, messages, or other materials ("Content"), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, are the sole responsibility of the person from which the Content originated. This means that you and not Gallup are entirely responsible for all Content that you upload, post, e-mail, transmit, or otherwise make available via this Service.

By submitting communications or Content to any part of this site where such Content would be viewable by the public (e.g. posting on a public forum/bulletin board or public chat or other public communication), you agree that such submission is non-confidential for all purposes.
