Stefanie Julier joined Gallup in January 2005 with more than 15 years of hospitality industry experience. As Global Practice Leader, Julier leads Gallup’s operations in providing hospitality clients with business solutions based on Gallup’s research and empirical data. Julier is responsible for leading research and development, product innovation, marketing, and client relationship management. She specializes in customer and employee engagement, talent-based selection, strengths-based development, and comprehensive organizational improvement. Additionally, Julier provides industry expertise to hospitality clients to help them achieve strategic growth and market leadership position.
Julier’s vast hotel industry experience includes sales, reservations, reception, guest relations, room maintenance, and food services. Prior to joining Gallup, Julier worked for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Berlin, Germany, and in Qatar in the Middle East. She played a leading role in the successful opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin, a new 302-room luxury hotel. Julier also worked as a sales and marketing executive team member for The Ritz-Carlton, as well as working in varying capacities for Hilton, Sheraton, and Kempinski Hotels & Resorts. As a youth, Julier worked with her family in the two small bed and breakfast hotels that they owned.
Julier’s industry experience includes successfully positioning hotels in their respective markets, exceeding sales goals, developing and penetrating new markets, finding and growing new and potential customers, and building productive and successful sales teams.
Julier received her bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis on hotel and restaurant management from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. She is a native of Germany, but studied, worked, and lived in the United States for more than seven years.
