Raksha Arora is a Strategic Consultant with the Gallup World Poll. This ground-breaking research project is designed to tell the 10 million people who lead, govern, and manage the world what the world’s 6 billion citizens are thinking. The World Poll annually collects people’s opinions in more than 100 countries to determine the general well-being or “soul” of a country, city, or culture.
As a part of the World Poll effort, Raksha has written extensively on China and India, covering subjects such as the economy, development, gender issues, and consumerism. She has a special research interest in subjective well-being and is currently engaged in an in-depth cross-cultural study of its structure and determinants.
Raksha earned a master’s degree in business administration from The Stern School at New York University.
