Brian J. Brim, Ed.D., is a Practice Consultant for Gallup. For more than 21 years, Brim has worked as a consultant and advisor to some of the world's leading organizations in healthcare, finance, hospitality, technology, manufacturing and distribution, automotive, and retail fields, as well as with government agencies. His insights have supported many organizations to increase performance by maximizing their talent and human capital systems.
Brim brings extensive expertise to his clients, including leadership, management, and associate assessment and development; succession planning; performance management and team diagnostics; strengths-based development; and employee and customer engagement. He has played a leading role in the growth of Gallup University through the launch of several highly successful client offerings. These include the Great Manager Program, Gallup's flagship management offering, and other programs for leadership development, sales management and sales executive development, and strengths-based performance improvement.
Brim is the coauthor of Strengths Based Selling (Gallup Press, March 2011) and regularly contributes articles to the Gallup Management Journal. Two of his articles were included in The Best of the Gallup Management Journal 2001-2007.
Brim received his bachelor's degree in speech communication and master's degree in educational psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He received his doctorate in organizational leadership from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Brim resides in Omaha, Nebraska, with his wife Kimberly and their two daughters Chloe and Jerri.
